Where is the Catford Gin Festival?
Catford Broadway Theatre, Catford Rd, London SE6 4RU

What is included with my ticket?
Each ticket includes admittance to a session for one person along with:
• A commemorative copa balon festival glass for your gin and tonic
• A unique Catford Gin Festival canvas tote bag
• A festival guide with information about the gins exhibiting
• Tasters of all gins available

What happens at a gin festival?
You have fun by tasting samples of gin from the stalls, meeting the distillers, chatting to them and other gin lovers. Your ticket price covers samples from each exhibitor and you can buy full sized gin & tonics from them too. There is also street food available to buy to line your stomach as you go. Most exhibitors will be accepting all cards.

What happens when I arrive?
On arrival you will be given your gin glass and festival guide telling you all about the gins at the festival to help you plan your day and your way round the Broadway Theatre itself.

When is it being held?
Friday 5th October 2018: Evening Session from 6pm – 11pm
Saturday 6th October 2018: Afternoon Session from 12pm – 5pm
Saturday 6th October 2018: Evening Session from 6pm – 11pm
Sunday 7th October 2018: Afternoon Session from 12pm – 5pm

How do I get to Catford Gin Festival?
As this is a gin festival we advise that you travel to and from the event by public transport. Catford Broadway Theatre is served by Catford and Catford Bridge stations. Buses including numbers 47, 54, 75, 124, 136, 160, 171, 181, 185, 199, 202, 208, 284, 320 and 336 stop nearby.
It’s a short walk or taxi journey from both Catford and Catford Bridge stations or the surrounding areas. We are also bike accessible with secure bike parking at the bike racks on Catford Broadway.

Do I have to bring ID?
As this is an 18+ event you may be asked to show photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence or PASS Card).
If you are unable to provide ID, you will not be admitted into the festival even with a valid ticket.

Do the tickets have to be in my name for me to use them?
No, the name on the tickets doesn’t affect who can use them.

I can no longer attend the festival, can I get a refund?
Yes, we can give a full refund up to one week before the event. Please note, we are only able to refund tickets purchased through Eventbrite. If you have purchased any tickets through a 3rd party provider, the Catford Gin Festival not in any way liable for your purchase. Please contact the third party provider with any refund request.

Can under 18’s attend the festival?
No. The festival is strictly 18’s. This means no under 18s can attend in any capacity.

Can I bring animals to the festival?
Dogs and other animals are not permitted with the exception of assistance animals.

Is Catford Gin Festival accessible?
At the Broadway Theatre we are dedicated to making your visit as easy and enjoyable as possible. The theatre is almost 100 years old so parts of the building are not as accessible as we would like but we are undergoing some changes.
There is a lift from the Little Nan’s bar to the Main Auditorium and an accessible unisex toilet on the Main Auditorium level, there is a loop system in the Main Auditorium, Studio Theatre and Box Office.

Unfortunately our Studio space and lower ground floor is not wheelchair accessible however we are currently undergoing a minor works programme which will see a new platform lift to the Studio Theatre, improved toilet facilities and an upgraded hearing loop system throughout.

We offer complimentary carer’s tickets and wheelchair spaces at each event.

Do you have a cloakroom at Catford Gin Festival?
We do not have a cloakroom at Catford Gin Festival so we ask that attendees do not bring large or bulky items such as wheeled suitcases and take care with their bags and personal belongings throughout the sessions.

Will there be seating?
The festival is a standing event. Some seating will be provided but is not guaranteed for every attendee.

Will there be food at the event?
We will be selling a variety of street food at each session. There will be sweet and savoury food including gluten free and vegan dishes. Each trader will be able to give advice on food allergy and intolerance labelling.
The street food traders accept card and cash. Only food purchased at Catford Gin Festival can be consumed within the event.

Where are the nearest cash machines?
There are ATMs at each end of Catford Broadway and on Rushey Green itself.
Is re-entry to Catford Gin Festival permitted?
Yes, re-entry is permitted within the allocated session with a valid wristband for your session.

What is the smoking policy?
No smoking including e-cigarettes or vaping is permitted in Catford Broadway Theatre or at its main entrance. We ask that you smoke around the corner on Catford Broadway instead.
I broke my Catford Gin Festival glass! Can I replace it?
We ask that you take care with your festival glass but in the case of breakage they will only be replaced at the retail price of £5.00 each.

Do I need to print out my tickets for the event?
Unless you use the Eventbrite app on your smartphone you will need to print out your tickets as sent to you in the confirmation email when you purchased the tickets. Neither we or Eventbrite send out paper tickets for online purchases.

I haven’t received my confirmation email, what should I do?
Please contact us so we can re-send the confirmation email to you. If you still don’t receive the email it may be in your junk or spam folder.
We ask that you check all ticket details are correct before purchasing your ticket through Eventbrite, as these cannot (with the exception of email address) be amended once the ticket has been processed.

Terms & Conditions
The Catford Gin Festival reserves the right to carry out photography and/or video recording at their events for publicity purposes and to reproduce images and footage on our website. By entering into this agreement, you agree that the Catford Gin Festival and any party authorised by the Catford Gin Festival may use such images in perpetuity and in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials is owned by Catford Gin Festival

Please be aware that for your security, we may on occasion conduct bag searches on entry to the festival.
To ensure that everyone can have an enjoyable experience, we reserve the right to refuse admission to disruptive or aggressive attendees even if a valid ticket is produced. No refund will be issued in this case.
Only alcohol purchased from Catford Gin Festival may be consumed within the event. Anyone bringing alcohol in will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued in this case.
It is the attendees’ responsibility to take care of all personal items. The Catford Gin Festival will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
